Not every job deserves your attention.

RoleRadius evaluates new US job postings every day on your behalf and identifies those that warrant a closer look.

  • Finds roles based on your skills and profile
  • Filters by the pay and locations you set
  • Searches every day on its own
  • Sends new matches to your email
  • Explains why each match fits
  • Tracks your applications in one place

Each one includes a clear assessment of why it may be worth pursuing and highlights areas of alignment and potential gaps between your background and the employer's stated requirements.

No sponsored rankings. Cancel online. Every membership starts with a free trial.

For a match you want to pursue, you can get a resume tailored from your own work history. You review every document and send each application yourself.

Who RoleRadius is for

  • Any field.

The work people enter can be as different as patient care coordination, supply chain planning, curriculum design, fraud investigation, and commercial underwriting.

  • People with at least a few years of work experience.

The matching reads your history, so it suits people with a few years of experience or more, whether you manage teams or do the work yourself.

  • Roles in the United States.

Full-time and contract openings, starting at $50,000 a year, which is the lowest minimum salary you can set.

  • Remote, hybrid, or on-site.

You choose which, and you name the cities where on-site work is possible.

  • Employed or between jobs.

A private search you run while you are still employed and a full-time search after a layoff both fit, because your search stays inside your account either way.

  • Some comfort with computers.

You need to be comfortable using a web browser and uploading a resume file you have saved. There is nothing to install and nothing to maintain.

Useful when you need a job, and when you are keeping watch for a better one

  • You need your next job.

The radius searches every day and explains each match, so your time goes into deciding and applying, not looking.

  • You would move only for something clearly better.

Set a high minimum salary and your deal-breaker words, and only postings that clear them reach you.

  • You want different work than you do today.

Matching starts from what your experience can do, not from your current title, so roles in other fields can surface with the reasons they fit.

  • You are settled, but keeping watch.

Let the radius read the market for you. Nothing is ever sent to an employer unless you decide to apply.

Over 12 million
data sources
Over 300,000

Many job sites watch a few hundred sources, or a few thousand. RoleRadius draws from more than 300,000, including company job boards and the hiring systems where many roles appear first. RoleRadius collects these postings in one place, so you do not have to check each source separately.

How it works

  1. Show what you have done

Upload your resume and describe the work you are open to. RoleRadius reads what you have done and finds your radius: how far your experience and skills reach beyond your title.

  2. Set what matters

Set your pay floor, your location, and whether you want remote, hybrid, or on-site work. Roles that do not meet your requirements are ruled out with the reason shown.

  3. RoleRadius searches every day

RoleRadius reads the market every day, ranks what it finds, and explains each strong match in plain language: why it fits and what to check.

  4. Act on the best ones

When a role is worth pursuing, RoleRadius drafts a resume built from your real experience, ready for your review.

See the case for and against every opportunity

Every match comes with a grade and an explanation you can read in a minute: the work the posting describes, where your record lines up, what is missing, and details in the posting worth checking before you spend time on it. Here is an example.

Under the explanation, the match shows what placed the role where it did, and two ways to answer it: save it for later, or mark it as not interested. A role you mark not interested does not come back.

Example

Operations manager, regional distribution center

Hybrid, 2 days on-site, Columbus, Ohio. $85,000 to $95,000.

A-Strongest Matches

Strongest alignment
From the posting: run a 60-person operation, plan weekly labor, and be accountable for inventory loss. From your resume: you led a team of that size with the same duties, in retail rather than distribution.
Potential gaps
The posting names warehouse management software that is not on your resume yet. The grade reflects what is missing and details are in the explanation, so you know what to speak to before you apply.
Details to verify
The posting mentions weekend coverage during busy seasons without saying how often. We recommend you check on that before spending time on the role.

How RoleRadius differs from a job board

Job boards can alert you to new postings. RoleRadius also finds roles from your work history, explains each match, prepares tailored resumes, and tracks your applications.

Many job boards hold tens of thousands of openings at a time. The job data RoleRadius draws on covers millions of postings.

Searching by title misses jobs that fit your experience

Title and keyword searches work best when you already know what to search for. Employers often use different titles for similar responsibilities, especially across industries. A title search may therefore miss suitable jobs that use terms you did not enter.

RoleRadius compares your work history with the responsibilities in each posting. It considers the problems you have solved, the teams and budgets you have managed, and the customers and industries you know. This allows it to find both roles similar to your current work and roles with unfamiliar titles. Each match explains which parts of your experience align with the posting.

RoleRadius

  • Starts with the work you have done
  • Finds roles under names you would not think to search
  • Reads every posting first and shows why it ranked where it did
  • Searches every day on its own

A title search

  • Starts with the titles you can think of
  • Misses every role posted under a name you never type
  • Leaves you to read each posting and judge it yourself
  • Has to be repeated by hand, day after day

An example of a match you would not have searched for

Say you have run a retail store for 12 years. On a job board you type store manager, and store manager roles come back. That is the lane your title puts you in.

Your record holds more than the title. You hired and scheduled 40 people. You owned the numbers for a $6 million location, including inventory losses. You handled the most difficult customer complaints. You trained three assistant managers who now run stores of their own.

RoleRadius compares the responsibilities in each posting with your work history. This can identify jobs with unfamiliar titles that require experience you already have. That distance from your current title to the roles your experience supports is your radius. RoleRadius finds it by reading your resume, so you are not left guessing at titles.

Your first week with RoleRadius

Setup, in one sitting.
One screen asks for your resume as a Word or text file, whether you want remote, hybrid, or on-site work (and which cities, if you pick either of the last two), and the kinds of work you are open to. You can have that last list suggested from your resume and then edit it. Have your resume file ready before you start.
Your first matches.
These usually appear shortly after you finish setup or overnight. After that, one sweep runs every day. A sweep is a single pass over the job market: it brings in new postings, applies your limits, and ranks what remains. Each match then shows why it ranked where it did.
Your part, most days.
Read the top of the list, open what interests you, and answer each job: saved or not interested. That takes a few minutes. The longer work, approving a tailored resume, happens only on the roles you decide to pursue.
You steer it from day one.
The first days run wide on purpose, so you see the full reach of your experience. Adjust the kinds of work you can do, your minimum pay, or your deal-breakers at any time, and the changes apply to the next sweep.

Every application, tracked in one place

Each role you pursue gets a record: where it stands, what happened and when, and optional follow-up suggestions. The full history stays attached to the job, from first look to final answer.

That replaces the spreadsheet you would otherwise maintain by hand, and the separate tracking service you would otherwise pay for. The searching and the reading run on their own, so your time goes to the roles worth pursuing.

What your membership includes

Your membership includes daily job searches, a graded and explained match list, tailored resumes, and application tracking.

  • Radius Inbox.

New matches to look at today, plus follow-up reminders for applications without a response. The reminders are optional and you can ignore them.

  • All Matches.

Everything sorted into Strongest Matches, Moderate Matches, and Low Matches, with "Why ranked here?" on every match. A weak match ranks lower rather than disappearing.

  • The match grade.

Every checked job carries one grade, from A+ down to D-, measuring how closely its work lines up with the work on your resume. Behind each grade sits a written assessment: the strongest points of alignment, any potential gaps, and details in the posting worth checking, each backed by quotes from the posting and from your own resume.

  • My Tailored Resumes Archive.

A draft built for one specific job from your own history, with a cover letter draft under the same rule, ready to review, edit, and download as a Word file.

  • Tracker.

Every application from applied through offer, including ones you found somewhere else. Paste a posting’s web address or import a list from a spreadsheet.

  • Company Watch.

Name the employers you want followed and RoleRadius checks their job boards alongside the wider market.

  • Insights.

Once you have some history: how far your applications get, response rates by match grade, and which applications are still waiting on a reply.

  • Jobs Archive.

Every posting RoleRadius has checked for you, kept with the reason it landed where it did. A posting you applied to stays on your record even after the employer takes it down, so you can reread it before an interview.

Because the tracking is part of the membership, you are not paying for a search tool and an application tracker separately, and you are not maintaining a spreadsheet by hand.

You control how you are represented

A job search is personal. RoleRadius does the looking and the reading, prepares drafts for your review, and brings the decisions to you.

  • You approve every application before it moves forward, so nothing is ever sent in your name without you.
  • Resume drafts are built from your real experience, and you review every word.
  • Your information is never sold.
  • You can download your data, or delete your account and all of its data, at any time.
